I created an Excel sheet clear back in 2000 when I tried to remember at the year’s end all the quilts I have finished that year. I, for the life of me, couldn’t remember more than a couple, yet I worked on quilts all year! They call it ‘old age’, I say temporary memory lapse! I find that it’s refreshing to look back over the past year and realize that I really was productive and did more than run around and mess up my studio. I try to take photos of each quilt when they are done, sometimes I forget and ship the quilt off and that’s okay. They are not masterpieces by any sense of the word, but nice to jog the memory. Here’s a recap of last year:
Snowman Wallhanging of the Month
Daisy Fields
Tennessee Waltz
Positively Pineapple
Patriotic Stars and Stripes
Cobblestone
okay—I guess I better stop here as I can’t find photos of rest of the quilts. Guess what I’m doing tomorrow? I really want to have a photo history of what I’ve done, a lot of times the name of a quilt isn’t enough to jog my memory! So…more to come……

It's great to re-visit the projects. I try to keep a photo of each one as a record. I really should maean albumn. I really love the flowers in the patches.

I think it is a great idea to record your accomplishments for the year, especially with photos of your quilts. You've had a very good year.
