time out for purses

I'm am such a sucker for purses/totes--anything that can hold anything, including baskets, stuff from the Container Store, rubbermaid, whatever. And I do not discriminate--I like 'em cheap, expensive, handmade, woven or whatever. It's funny, I could give or take shoes, mostly because I love to be barefoot. But purses are my downfall! And I love making them. I had a class last Thursday on the pink one (a LazyGirl pattern), so I had my excuse to make yet another! And then my cousin sent me some tea stained yummy looking fabrics that screamed "big" and "oversized", like a big, cushy chair.
Darn blogger--won't let me load pictures...so another time.. :(

Oh, I want to see pictures!! I love purses and containers too. I try so hard to get organized but I just don't think it will ever happen!

I am definitely a purse fool. I happened to just change into a new purse last night and do so every few weeks if not more often than that. I love them all!

I discovered the Lazy Girl patterns this summer; have about 6 of them, although I've only used 2 so far. All the female relatives will be getting purses for Xmas this year...

I hope you get to publish them soon! I'd like to see them. I don't care about purses, but I love shoes, and I love containers! We walked out of the restaurant from dinner tonight. There's a cigar/pipe store right next door. The owner had a stack of wooden cigar boxes outside on a table - $6 each. There were some wonderful ones there! Each of us *had* to get one that we liked. There were actually two that I liked, but I restrained myself . . . out of shame. =)

I am also a collector of bags. I just get drawn to them whenever I see them. And I also like to make them. But I don't like using them, because they might get...ruined?? I'm not sure -- I just like having them, everywhere.A bit obsessive/compulsive? HMMM

So, hopefully you can post pictures soon.

I just picked this post for a comment because it only had 6. =)

I'm still concerned about you. I hope you are busy with some good things and have a good Thanksgiving planned, even if it doesn't include quilting. If it does, even better!
