Adventures with Kaffe

This is all I have left out of 24 FQ's of Kaffe Fasset fabric my friend gave me for my birthday! I had to do a lot of planning to not waste hardly a thread of fabric! LOL I'm a happy camper now!

This is the THIRD quilt from that same bundle of FQ's! "Flying to Kaffe" . Of course, I used the square in the corner method to make these and I sewed that extra seam, so now I have 28 bonus Half Square Triangles! I also have 360 2 1/2" squares left. I have another quilt in mind to use those in. Thanks Marilyn for a fun adventure!!

Okay, I guess I need to learn how these pictures are added! LOL This is the SECOND quilt made from that bundle of FQ's. "Bricks and Stepping over Kaffe's Stones". Thanks Bonnie (www.quiltville.com) for the pattern.

This is "Windows into the eyes of Kaffe". This is the first quilt made from that bundle of FQ's my friend gave me. I wanted something that featured all his prints large enough so you could appreciate them. They are so yummy!!

Welcome to Stash Quilts! Never know who's going to turn up next. I suspected it was you when I read the bio with your location, but the reference to Marily and SC confirmed it. :-)

So what you been up to lately?

Great use of fabric. Just reading about your sewing frenzy makes my back ache - 3 quilts in 24 hours!!! Wow. Welcome to Stash Quilts - how big is your stash anyway? You seem pretty good at busting fat quarters!

Cheers!

Evelyn

Great quilts from a wonderful range of fabrics! And you work so fast - but that's the exciting part of quilting isn't it - the adrenaline rush when all your ideas just "work" LOL.

Glad to have you here! Your three quilt tops are wonderful. Can't wait to see what you do with the little triangle squares.

I like all 3 quilts but the bricks and stepping stones is my favorite - your fabrics look wonderful in this quilt.

Way to make those bundles stretch! (Welcome to Stash Quilters, btw...)

I absolutely love the 3rd one shown- Windows! They're all lovely! I'm a big Kaffe fan as well.

Wow! I couldn't believe all the comments! Thanks to all--btw, the Bricks and Stepping Stones is from the Quiltville.com site by Bonnie Hunter. She has awesome ideas. Yes, I had a lot of fun and when I get juiced (a natural quilter's high!), I can kick out some quilts. I crash a few days later, but such an adrenaline rush.

maybe one day I'll post pictures of my stash..once I clean it up. :)
