#2 done in 10 in 10--Triple Irish Chain

#2--Triple Irish Chain

Triple Irish Chain
(oops, upside down! I JUST noticed that!)

So, I ate the frog.

An old saying is that "If the first thing you do each morning is to eat a live frog, you can go through the day with the satisfaction of knowing that that is probably the worst thing that is going to happen to you all day long!" Your "FROG" is the one you are most likely to procrastinate on if you don't do something about it now! It is also the one task that can have the greatest positive impact on your life and results at the moment.  ---Brian Tracy
So, I ate my frog.  The Triple Irish Chain.  The one I really wanted to practice doing diagonal lines on the long arm, Khloe. And three lines in a row.  Straight. Did I mention that I wanted them straight?

So, I put it off and put if off and now it's been like 3 years since the top was done.  I did it. I got out my special thick ruler for long arms and just did it.  AND did free form feathers in the border. And loops in the inner border.  It won't win any prizes, but I DID it!  It took about 4 hours. But, I waited 3 years to do a 4 hour project?  Isn't that the way it always is?  We procrastinate on the hard things and when we finally do them, they weren't so bad or take as long as we thought! Whew!

and you know what, that frog wasn't so bad after all!
